In white broken steel and soft silent
stands the refrigerator on stand by
to preserve the cold of his coolness
and conserve apple pies and morphine
Outside the door of rising pressure
vibrates your waste heat
in a caress of diffuse noise
through the thin air

there is sucha strong undercurrent of emotion that screams through this…
The anthropomorphic fallacy of the refrigerator is powerful… as is the image of apple pie siting next to morphine. Ouch. Many great images and some clever worplay contained in just 2 quatrains… makes me think all those God-awful love poems that go on forever and say the same crap over and over should really take a leaf out of your book. I sometimes say, nice, but you could have said all that in a haiku.
Like this one a lot, dude

The emotion in this one is palpable. I like how you put together images. Morphine and apple pie. It shocks, and they are so different, but it really works.
I enjoy the way you write.
OMG ! Fantastic!!!
The depth of this is unfathomable! Such a strong meaning conveyed thru’ such few words… and wonderfully too!
Keep ‘em coming!
Best Regards..
